I'm about to go see "The Mist." Is it good? Is it bad? Will it make me pee my pants? We'll see.

It seems interesting. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I hate that in most modern "horror" movies, the "horror" aspect is heaps of corn syrup and food coloring flung at the screen and some camera shaking. Even worse is the obligatory kid with a speech impediment. How am I supposed to be scared if I had to take the time to figure out WTF the kid is saying?

Also, my boyfriend doesn't much like horror movies... he's alright with them, but he says he scares easily.

I haven't actually seen anything for it... so I don't know what it's about. X|
I haven't been out in so long. this is probably why. lol

I was looking at the pictures in one of your previous entries, and just wanted to say that I really like the shawl-looking thing on the table by the couch. Absolutely love it!

Also, I really like the song you have playing. Who/what is it?

I actually wanted to see this movie, but my girlfriend got to pick :( We ended up seeing A Walk to Remember....laaaaame.

It's ok, I got her back later (with The Exorcist and Halloween)

Haha, a ball gag might be too enjoyable...

I'm mean, I think it's hilarious to randomly tap him in the middle of a horror movie. Then again, I also enjoyed tapping my old cat when he was a kitten, since he scared so easily.

The Mist
I thought it was actually quite good. The original story by Stephen King was excellent, one of my favorites, actually, so I was pretty geeked to find out they made it into a movie.

They did a great job of translating the story to film -- except for the end, which I think was needlessly dreary. If they cut the last three to five minutes of the film, it'd be perfect. The end to the short story was waaaaay better.

I suggest going back and reading the story after you see it, just because it's freaking awesome -- and, additionally, you'll get what I'm talking about with the end and all.
